Finally, our house is starting to get more and more finished. It is precisely the finishing touches that make all the difference. So we chose to cover our radiators in the kitchen and wow, I didn't know it would have such an effect....
Sentimo
Through the internet, I came across Sentimo, a company that supplies radiator covers. After we made an appointment to take measurements, an employee came to do this. Perhaps we could have done this ourselves, but we thought it was a very nice extra service. After about two weeks, the radiator cover arrived. Super neatly packaged and with clear instructions (even we had it assembled within 5 minutes). Then put the magnets on the old radiator and just slide the cover over it. What a huge difference from how it was. I find it really fantastic that it gives so much and such a beautiful result.
Colours
Naturally, I was in doubt about the colours I wanted to order. After all, there are quite a few RAL colours. Besides standard white, there is pink, yellow, beige, black, blue.... A suitable colour for every interior. Since we have a floral wallpaper, I thought it would be nice to go for a colour from the wallpaper. This became a beige-like shade. On the other side, the wall is white, so we chose a white colour there too. The third wall has a light sandy colour, so we kept the colour of the wall there too.
Besides all the colours, you also have the option of choosing a very smooth covering (Solid), a covering with ornaments (Classic) and a covering with stripes (Groove). We chose smooth for the radiators near the dining area and stripes for the radiator on the other side of the kitchen. I liked the idea of adding a bit more texture to that wall.
The result
That such a small and simple procedure would produce such a great result I could not have imagined in advance. I think it looks really beautiful, and like I said, it's the finishing touches for us.
Finally one room is completely finished and it feels tremendously good. We are going to start working on some other things and then we will call it a day. Then we will mainly enjoy everything....
