Marrit's (Instagram: @donebymyselfblog) cosy home has undergone a complete makeover. And what a makeover it was! The interior is cosy, colourful (lots of pink!) and consists of lots of chic and vintage elements. It is a style that requires a touch of daring, but with Marrit everything is right down to the last detail. In this blog, she shares her story.
A complete makeover for this cosy house
"During our renovation, I was looking for a nice way to disguise our radiators. I came across Sentimo online and immediately fell in love: beautiful designs and easy to install. Exactly what we were looking for! I ordered colour swatches online and we ended up with "Salty Sea" for the living room. Because you receive the colour samples at home, you can test them directly in the room in question, which is great!
For the living room, we went for the "Solid" design, for a sleek look. For the hallway, we wanted a Cabinet, because it has a bit more body in design, and also gives us a shelf to put something on. Win win! The radiator behind it is old and hanging crookedly off the wall, and this was solved in one fell swoop with this conversion."
Before and after
There were several places in the house where Marrit wanted to tackle the radiators: the living room, the dining area and the hallway. That's quite a lot! So to take measurements of these, she opted for our video measurement service.
